      I understand that Ford may have produced a limited run of special 105E cylinder heads (thick floor heads) in order to raise compression without excessive skimming. These heads were apparently supplied to the likes of Cosworth and Holbay during the latter part of the Formula Junior era (ended in 1963).
      Does anyone have any information regarding these heads and whether the current Richardson race head replicates these earlier heads.

        You could try calling Mark Linstone on 07766 831220. He used to race formula Junior and his dad used to race back in the 50’s/60’s so may be able to answer your question.
