    Hi,

I have a 105e that I bought of the U.S. Still RHD. It came with a spare license plate that appears to be from the UK – AB5855. As I am in Canada, and not familiar with the UK registration system, can anyone tell me the origins of this plate? It has a black background and the lettering is the natural metal colour.

    Cheers,

    Stewart

Hi Stewart, The colour is correct, More normal for the era is 3 letters & 3 numbers & after 1963 a year letter .But there were some variations, Details here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_United_Kingdom So possibly from Worcestershire? . . Perhaps contact Aubone Braddon , the club historian https://105eoc.com/contacts/?v=79cba1185463
