Hi Guys I am an expate living in Queensland Australia,

Thought you might like to have a look at my reclaimed / refurbished 1960 Ford Anglia 105e,

Bought this car early 2002, after a lot of procrastination and pondering as to whether it should be refurbished as close to original or street rodded.

I decided on the former, started Jan 2016 and finished it Easter weekend 2017, Not strictly as built but close too.

Need to change the steering wheel not really in keeping.

Standard 997cc, original engine matching numbers,

has original 15993 Mls on the clock, well its now 16160 mls now, drives like new, really pleased with it. I think the photo`s say it all.

Thanks oldskool, appreciate your feed back,

Yep am very careful when I take it out, Sunny days only and light traffic hours ;0)

The only thing that was done by others was the retrim of all the door cards and seats and kick panels.

Mechanical`s by me Рpaint by me ( though that was a little of a drama, had to get used to acrylic paint as I have only done cellulose and enamels in the past, did not want 2 pack (a) to dangerous without a spray booth and all the gear, (b) 2 pack to plasticky looking, even though its prob the best finish and resilient ( wanted original type paint but not allowed down here cant buy any  nitro cellulose.

good job Ford change the paint they used back then in around 62-63 I believe, so Acrylic is still near original.

Yep am very pleased with the result it certainly seems to be a head turner when I take it out.

Wow! You obviously had a good, clean shell to start with.
