    Hi All,

I am just starting a rebuild of an Anglia I found in the garage after 25 years. n.b. It was me that put it there before life got in the way!! Having unearther a couple of engine blocks but six cylinder heads – I am now struggling to identify the likely source of each. Can anyone help?

    There are three 116E heads (one is a 1500GT) and then a 105E modified, 105E unmodified, and a 113E.
One of the 116E heads I thought had come off a 1200 Anglia I used to drive circa 1980. It has larger valves rather like the 1500GT head which may explain why it seemed go quite well, though I did not know about such things at the time. But I imagined a 1200 head would have had a 109E number?

My question is – “Is there any reference bible where I can establish the original source of these heads?”

Heaven forbid, I may even have more buried deeper in the emporium. Aagh. The mission now is to work out which to keep for the rebuild and which to get rid of.
So far I have picked out the numbers under the thermostat housing as being:
    116E 6050 G11
    116E 6050
    116E 6050 O – 0 maybe? – this is the 1500GT type head
    113E 6050 EF
    105E 6050 LM
105E 6050 – this number is on the TOP of the head, which is heavily modified so it does not really match its original spec, making the casting number kinda irrelevant.

Thanks in advance, any help welcome. Woz
