Thinking of fitting a Pertronix electronic ignition kit to my 1964 105E,does the coil need to be replaced by a electronic ign. coil or is the standard 12v unit ok ?
They are designed to work with a standard coil, though they do reccomend their own “uprated” coil, which is equivelent to a Lucas gold “sport”coil used on minis and such like. I’m sure someone will come along with a part number shortly.
