cheers adam 105e. :( :( :(May 30, 2010 at 10:26 pm #23631Hi Adam.
I’ve had a similar problem with my indicators and I found that by moving the flasher unit to a vertical or horizontal position the flasher starts working again. I’ve now got mine laying horizontal on top of the wiring behind the speedometer and it now works ok. The problem usual happens if I’ve done anything around the wiring and moved the flasher unit. Give it a try. It might work.

I have change the fuse still not working.
Iam now thinking is it the indicator stalk on steering column.
Is there any wires behind speedo which could stop the indicators from working.
can some one please help. :( :( :(
cheers adam 105e.June 1, 2010 at 10:47 am #23651Hi Adam – the wires that come off the stalk run down under the plastic steering column shroud and come out at the end of the shroud. You can check the wires going into the union block as they sometimes need wiggling!
It sounds to me like an earth or flasher unit problem though if it definitely isn’t the fuse. Try running a long wire from the live battery terminal to the live wire in each light unit and check that the units are earthing and the bulbs are OK. then work back from there (live wire to flasher unit etc). In my experience when the stalks go or get gummed up they still work for some time when you wiggle them so if it’s just gone straight away it’s more likely to be earth/fuse or flasher unit. I’ve had flasher units fail that don’t allow the bulbs to light as well as having some that light but don’t flash – sometimes just tapping the unit gets it to flash for a few seconds – they are a bit temperamental when they start going!Hope this helps!
