To coincide with the club holiday we’re having a meet at the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway on May9th meeting about eleven o’clock
There must be loads of members in North Yorks, Lancashire, North East, Cumbria etc that are busting a gut to get out in their cars for a nice run out so now’s yer chance
Let me know on here who’s going?
April 27, 2010 at 6:26 pm #23425I’m in 8)
April 27, 2010 at 8:11 pm #23429Sorry I cannot come Yorkshire Group has an event at Goathland (Adenfield) village hall on that day. If you cannot get to the Lakes why not join us all welcome.
April 29, 2010 at 7:34 pm #23437If you want to advertise your show why not start your own thread instead of hijacking mine!
If there was a bit more communication within the owners club especially with regard to events, maybe the club would have a better membership and owners might feel more welcome.
I find it staggering that out of all the viewings of this topic only one member has posted positivelyDon’t think i’ll be posting on here again cos i can’t be bothered!!!!!!!!
April 30, 2010 at 12:29 pm #23440Hi sorry!
I am not hi jacking your event just letting you know I will not be attending and letting you know unfortunately, the Yorkshire group has an event that clashes with yours and yorkshire members may be thin on the ground at your event.as in your main post you asked for Yorkshire members if possible. Sorry Again!April 30, 2010 at 5:02 pm #23441Why don’t all the regional officers post all the meets on the forum????????because at the moment until we get the magazine nobody knows whats on where and when
May 1, 2010 at 7:55 am #23442That’s not quite true.
The Events are posted on the Club Website with contact details etc
Check out http://www.fordanglia105eownersclub.co.uk/events.htm :lol:The Club Website also includes the Spares http://www.fordanglia105eownersclub.co.uk/spares.htm
and Regalia listings http://www.fordanglia105eownersclub.co.uk/regalia.htm
So why wait two months for the Club Magazine, when you can get your info from the website

I checked the events section and the Yorkshire group meet isn’t on there, unless I’m missing something :?:
May 3, 2010 at 4:17 pm #23470Hi
I wish to set the record straight, I am not the Yorkshire Group organiser, as was infered on previous posts with regard to poaching people for an event. I am just an active member of the Yorkshire Group who uses the web site.
I cannot speak for Maureen Young as to why there are no listings at present on this site. As far as I am aware all Yorkshire group members were posted a list of proposed events and the event at Goathland (9/5/10) is one of these, organised by a former regalia sec.
Maureen runs the Yorkshire group mainly on her own doing a stirling job . as the Yorkshire group covers not only Yorkshire but all the North East. It is more practical for individual events to be organised by Yorkshire/North East members in their own local area then co-ordinated through Maureen.Bye for now Scruffy
May 4, 2010 at 1:49 pm #23477Hi All – I have received a new event list from the national events and it has been updated. I can obviously only include the events that i’m given by national events for club insurance reasons, so if anyone else has any please continue to post on the forum.
Dick – don’t be disheartened! Our statistics show that only a small % of club members actually use the website and forum!!!! – most still only look at the magazine.
With a bit of luck word will get around and a few more may reply!
