      Anglia Deluxe.

I’m the luck fella that bought Sox’s car, thanks Andy, pleasure to deal with you.

As I speak it’s winging its way to Guisborough Cleveland on the back of a Transporter and should be here this afternoon.

Can’t wait! I drove a new one as a teenager in 1964 so a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, plus as a mechanic I used to work on them quite a bit, although my memory is a bit suspect now.

      Thanks for reading.

      Tom.

        Tom,

Great news and a good Anglia.

        Andy will miss that.

Look forward to hearing more about it.

        Jase.

Thanks Jase, very pleased with it, just located a new diff for it as the present one is very noisy. Done quite a few basic lube jobs, eg’ heater cables, flaps, quarter lights, bonnet catch etc’.

‘Adjusted’ the boot lid so it doesn’t rub on the o/side edge now.

          Things for next week:

          Oil & filter
          Fit the diff
          change thermostat
          antifreeze it up.
          ‘Adjust’ the sagging doors
          Change to neg earth.

          I’m sure there’ll be more.

Long term it will get a top quality respray. If your going to do it, do it properly.

Watch this space, It will be like new when I’ve finished with it.
(Well, you’re never finished are you? :D
