NEW KENT GROUP – DETAILS OF FIRST MEETING

As was agreed at the Club’s recent AGM a new Kent Group is being formed to cater for members living in Kent and South-East London who wish to attend shows and events within this area.

Our first meeting is being held at 3.00pm Easter Sunday (4th April 2010)
at The Ramada Hotel, Ashford Road, Hollingbourne, Maidstone, Kent ME17 1RE (just off junction 8 of the M20 motorway) at the roundabout by the B2163. We will meet and assemble in the rear car park area – which will be marked – if wet please meet inside in the hotel Arts Bar/Restaurant.

I would just like to say a big thank you for John for taking on this role, club meets in this area have been very scarce for a long time, & we have been trying to get John involved for a while now.
It may be a good idea if we let John know either by e-mail or on here who is coming & if they are bringing there Anglias.My wife & i will be bringing our super & our Thames van.

I’ll be there but probably in my Primera as my Anglia won’t have an MOT by then. Mind you if I’m feeling flush I could always tootle down in my Chevy instead. :)

Thanks to all members who turned up on Easter Sunday at such short notice in their cars and vans (despite the gloomy weather) as soon as future shows have been confirmed we will be getting in touch and hopefully have a few more come along and give us their support.
