Search my other items on eBay for my other items for sale
October 12, 2010 at 5:58 pm #24363You would be better keeping them for your next project!!
October 13, 2010 at 1:02 pm #24367The saloon is rust free :D
The mass exhaust manifold would melt the clutch pipe, be nice on a standard car though.
Hows your van coming along ? Where abouts in Scotland are you ? Are you the chap that had the lotus twincam anglia ?
Craig

October 13, 2010 at 10:59 pm #24372Sorry Aly, got you mixed up with LJ
What panels you after m8 ?
I’ve got the xmember that goes right under the middle car, the one that has the removable section on the 1200 except mine is the one without the removable section. At the end of the gearbox. And a few other bits
October 14, 2010 at 4:14 pm #24373Aaron, bought front x member (s rack conversion), lower adjustable arms etc. capri struts with coil overs, offset strut tops & brakes etc, rear anti tramp kit and shocker conversion,2″ lower blocks. Also got a complete 1200 rear axle with brakes.
The bloke supplying this stuff (Alan Dent) has a racing background and a fabrication shop and advertises on Ebay, so will see how it fits together.
Just need a decent xflow now and a brake servo if you or Craig know of anyone with een our way?
Bought a set of lotus steels a while bk, just wondering what size of tyres should I fit??
(Sorry for hijacking your thread Craig) :lol:October 14, 2010 at 4:53 pm #24374@Aly Johnson wrote:

(Sorry for hijacking your thread Craig) :lol:Did you look at those pics of that stuff fitted on oldskoolford forum ?
I’ve got a remote servo, think it’s a girling powerstop. Was removed working from a mk1 mexico. I also have a 16 xflow. Ported head, cam, steel posts etc etc.
Craig
October 14, 2010 at 5:02 pm #24375Yea Craig, I had a look, pretty inconclusive though as the bloke only had it fitted and thread ends before having it on the road.
Im fairly confident it will be ok after speaking to the bloke who makes the stuff, will report back anyway…
Pm me with spec and price of your xflow etc, Im quite interested….October 14, 2010 at 7:10 pm #24376I’ll need to pull it to bits to find out the actual spec m8.
Before i start… its not a 711M block, its a 681 i think (cortina)
Wouldn’t put me off unless you plan on giving it 8000 rpm lots !
Contrary to all the blurb in the mags   the non 711M blocks are fine.
So, do i pull it to bits ? It’s got a front bowl sump btw as well
Craig
October 14, 2010 at 8:10 pm #24377No Craig just give me a price  what I meant was what’s bolted on it ie carbs etc, dont pull it apart!?
