Hi. Finally getting on with Gloria’s restoration. She originally had rear opening side windows but for some reason were replaced with the fixed ones. Have just bought a pair from ebay. They have the catches on one end but just 2 “lips” on the other end (the vertical side) am I missing bits as I cannot see how they fix to the body. Please help, thanks

The front hinge of the saloon rear side windows is achieved with 2 of https://105eoc.com/product/rear-side-window-grommet-grey-saloon-each/?v=79cba1185463 fitting in 2 rectangular holes on the body, & the 2 “hooks” on the glass frame just plug in. I would call them hooks rather than lips , metal tab bent round at the front edge.

I have seen fixed side windows on a Malta car, never knew if it was a production economy for export or an owner fix for window frame rust, which can lead to rust stains down the flank like a Icelandic trawler. So check the metal glass seal is good.
