Hi all, just a few pics from our day at Ripon Racecourse on Sunday 2nd May.

Although the weather was cold and blustery we had a great time. It was our first time at a club meet and we were made very welcome. This may have had something to do with me sitting on a chair which was sat on the bottom of the gazebo to stop it blowing away.

The rain managed to stay up in the clouds which was a blessing.

There was a really good turn out of stalls selling everything from watches to Fleeces (very cheap) and hundreds of old parts, tools etc’

Those present that I can remember were:

      Bob & Barbara
      John & partner
      Don’s son & partner
      Mick
      Maureen
      Dot
      Myself, James & Alan.

As I’m old and have an excuse I apologise if I’ve missed names off the list.

I think there were 9 cars in all so a good turn out.
I’d like to say thank you to everyone who made us so welcome, you are a great bunch and we’re looking forward to the next meet at Goathland on the 9th May.

Your Anglia looks good Tom. Glad to see it has found a good home.

Great to see my favourite Anglia of all time which i bought from Uxbridge way back in 1993 their is something special about 8691MU and it will always be my favourite Anglia and i am so glad it now belongs to chris and Sue who have done a sterling job on bringing the standard back .
I do hope the Yorkshire Group apreciate the time and devotion spent since i parted with MU in 2005 and wish the car much success
well done Chris and Sue and maybe you could post a pic of MU with NK my 107E which was taken last july at newby.
