With poor John & Brenda snowed in up in County Durham but still getting those parts orders processed….with Jason Barnes snowed in 35 miles away from us in Wiltshire and counting snow ploughs going by from his lounge window …we have not seen any snow here in sunny sunny Bournemouth. Its not all good news. We were looking forward to a day off.

January 6, 2010 at 3:15 pm #22615January 6, 2010 at 3:25 pm #22616It’s the same over here in the Seattle area. If we get a half inch of snow all the schools shut down and people end up slipping off the road or ramming into each other. It’s even more fun when we get a few inches; people start abandoning their vehicles wherever they may be, side street or motorway. We had about an inch of snow a few weeks ago and I saw a brand new Mustang slide across the road and into a ditch. Good thing no one was coming the other way at the time.

January 8, 2010 at 9:32 am #22624Mate this whole gobal warming thing just winds me up. As a kid i can remember most winters getting snow, not always as bad as this but some were. Then thru the seventies it got warmer with the odd bit of snow, the scientists then made a big thing about an ice age on the way in the next few hundred years. Then next thing you know a few mild winters and its all doom and friggin gloom on GW. I really hope with last Febs chaos, and what we have now this is the beginning of a few “normal” winters then maybe just maybe the old lightbulbs in a few peoples heads may just flicker into life, and realise how the governments of the world are onto the biggest scam/windup/public suppression call it what you will, since the millenium bug.
The best way to get the country moving again, is chain all the prisoners together like the old chain gangs and give them bloody shovels.
And they wonder why people are leaving this country in droves……..January 8, 2010 at 1:11 pm #22625I agree about chain gangs, better than me paying for them to sit and play wth a fooking xbox all day while they wait for the next free meal
I’d go a lot further than that though, the world would be a better place, VOTE: DALEK at the next election
January 8, 2010 at 7:16 pm #22626Media definatly need to be put on a tighter leash.
Schools should bring back strict disapline and punishments and the teacher should be the boss end of story.
Druggies, rapists, murders, terrorists should all get shot, if evidence is overwhelming then with no trial!(why should the tax payer waist money)
Prison should be cold cells, slopping out, bread and water and yes chaingangs doing hard labour.
I could go on for ever with this  as well as global warming and other scamming/dulling down of the nation policys the people who control the governments are coming away with…… -
