Well after nearly 40 years of owning at least one sometimes more anglia,s , all modified im afraid i have sold my last one today, just lack of time,finances and enthusiasm, should my numbers come up i would certainly be looking for another though.

Sorry to hear that Audie. You’ve been around the scene since i’ve joined I think. I know what you mean about the enthusiasum thing tho, struggling with a bit of that myself at the moment.

Oh dear beginning to regret selling now, will have to see how i feel in a few weeks, but with my limited budget all i will get will be a pile of rust if i decide to get another and i still havent the enthusiasm for a welding marathon.

I’ve sold my last Anglia van the other week. But I now have a Corsair plus a Mk1 Transit to keep me busy. The Corsair wasn’t meant to be a full on resto, but it seems its gone that way. I basically think I’ve got too old for all this messing about….lol but trying to find one thats been done to a reasonable standard is pretty difficult these days.

Blimey thats a surprise, yeah im thinking maybe a 100e as they seem to be a bit cheaper and i have a picture of one that i tore out of an old hotcar mag many years ago that always appealed to me.

Quiet on here isnt it. Guess its all facebook now which i normally avoid but i have relented and looked at the 105e page. So i retire next year and not planning to drive untill im 100 so i think i would like to finish my driving experience with the car i started driving with, a modified Anglia. I think prices have probably left me behind somewhat unfortunately..
