      Well i have a old smiths tacho that used to work, The wiring that goes to it is no longer there. I would like to know where to run wires and what to. Its a Smiths Negative Earth RVI2413/00 if that helps

        mk2 cortina ? cant help with wiring from my head, probably got a manual somewhere, but i think you will need the little plastic piece that holds a white wire in a loop around the little thread that protudes from the back
