Which pillar badges?

Can anyone tell me which pillar badges my 1965 Deluxe should have?

Should it have the ones I’ve seen with the writing round them ‘PRODUCT OF FORD MOTOR COMPANY LTD’ or should they be the blank ones? I don’t think it should have the ones that are all metal, I’m guessing they’re only for the standard models?…

I’ve just seen another 65 Deluxe with the badges with the writing round them. Is that right then? Or are they from another year/model?

The correct ones are the ones Dalek has shown. The ones you saw may have been replacements.

I think the earlier Deluxes had these with the writing (my 1961 deluxe did) not the later ones – can an anorak …. er I mean someone more knowledgeable than me please confirm?

Did Ford change the badges on later cars?

could someone post a pic of what a 1967 Std saloon should have?

The Standard Saloons have a moulded plastic badge which is silver with black stars I think – i’ll have to have a look at ours when I get home!

Ford did change the badges on later cars. The wording was removed in 1962 I think.
