Spring Rally April 16th 2016

The run will start from Whiteways car park at the roundabout on the A29 at the junction with the A284 and B2139, north of Arundel. It will leave from 11.30 am onwards.

There is plenty of parking in the car park and there is a small café with toilets.

The route is approximately 35 miles through lovely Sussex countryside, crossing the South Downs without having any very challenging steep roads.

At the end of the route we will stop at the café at Goodwood where you can get refreshments and possibly, if lucky, see some action on the circuit or the aerodrome.

For those who want to continue with us there will be a putting competition, weather permitting, at a park on the sea front in Bognor, with a prize for the winner.

Alternatively you can make your way to some other place of interest, and information on some of these will be given to you at the start of the run.

Come and join in the Spring Run with other club members and see a bit of West Sussex.

AGM 2016

Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre
West Sussex
BN18 9LT

Amberley Museum is a large open air museum with many interesting features and was even used for filming part of one of the James Bond films. On the day of our AGM there is also a special event of industrial locomotives and commercial vehicles.

There are many things to see at Amberley Museum. The excellent Electricity and Connectivity Halls have very good and interesting hands-on and traditional displays, including everything one could want to know about post office communications.

There are also exhibits on wireless, road making, pottery, printing, wheelwrights and many other crafts.

There is a railway that runs the length of the museum and a vintage bus carries passengers round the whole museum site, with one bus stop being just outside the room which will be the club base for the day, outside which we will have plenty of parking for our Anglias. A new café and toilets are close to where we will be based.

All club members arriving in their Anglias will have free entry to the museum; others will pay the reduced charge of £5.

Anglias will NOT enter by the sign showing the entrance to the museum but will need to go past this to a gate on the right (if coming from A29) where an official will show you the way in.

Members not in Anglias will need to park in the signposted car park and walk into the museum.
